In short
- We collect only what we need to answer your request and to see how the site works.
- Visit statistics run only if you click “Accept” in the banner.
- There are no ads on this site. We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising.
- We delete your data as soon as you ask.
Who is responsible for your data
neurowitchers.com is run by Neuro Witchers. For any question about your data, message us on Telegram or use the form on the main page. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What we collect and why
The contact form
A description of your task, your company size and a contact for our reply (email or Telegram). We also store the page language and any campaign tags in the address (such as utm_source) to see where the request came from. We need all of this to reply to you and discuss the task.
Chatting with our Telegram bot
If you message @neurowitchers_bot, we receive your answers to its questions (the task, your industry, company size, your role, timing, how to address you), your Telegram name and username, and the messages you send. The bot forwards them to our private work chat in Telegram, and we reply from there. If you leave a request unfinished, the bot may remind you about it once.
Visit statistics
If you click “Accept”, Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica are switched on. They collect pseudonymous data about the visit: which sections you viewed, which buttons you clicked, where you came from, device and browser type, approximate country and city. To do this they set cookies (_ga* and _ym*). This tells us which parts of the page work and which don’t. Nothing you type into the form goes to these services. Session recording (Webvisor) and click maps are switched off.
Until you choose, or if you click “Decline”, Yandex Metrica does not load at all, and Google Analytics sends only cookieless, anonymous signals (Consent Mode).
Spam protection
To keep bots from flooding the form, the server limits requests from one IP address to five per 10 minutes. The address is kept only in the server’s memory and is never written to disk or to the request database.
Legal basis
- Your request and our conversation: you ask us to get in touch and discuss a task (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
- Visit statistics: your consent in the banner (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Spam protection: our legitimate interest in a working site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Where your data goes
- Hetzner — the server that runs the site and the bot, in a data centre in Germany. Requests are stored there.
- Telegram — carries your chat with the bot and our work chat with requests.
- Google Analytics (Google) — statistics, only after consent. Google may process data outside the EU, including in the United States.
- Yandex Metrica (Yandex) — statistics, only after consent. Data is processed on Yandex servers in Russia.
- Google Fonts — the site’s fonts load from Google servers, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
We don’t share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Requests and messages — while we discuss the task or work together, and for a reasonable time after. We delete them sooner if you ask. Backups of the request database are kept for 7 days and then deleted.
- Statistics — 14 months in Google Analytics; in Yandex Metrica, under Yandex’s rules.
- Your banner choice stays in your browser until you clear the site’s data.
Cookies and your choice
The site sets no cookies until you click “Accept”. You can change your mind at any time with the button below or the “Cookies” link at the bottom of any page. If you decline after accepting, the statistics cookies are removed from your browser.
Your rights
You can ask us to show what data we hold about you, correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to statistics at any time. If you think we are breaking your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how, we will update this page and the date at the top.
